Professor Flicker will discuss the diagnosis of dementia based on clinical criteria and imaging, is it giving the whole picture.
How effective are pharmacological strategies for the management of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
The presence of delusions and hallucinations and coexistent depression and anxiety are very common in people with dementia. For these problems there are many nonpharmacological strategies yet to be adopted into routine clinical practice which offer important benefits for people with dementia and their carers.
CPD: This session will include elements that will accrue continuous professional development points.
