SUMMARY:Gender Bias in Pain\, Rehabilitation and Performance - Live webinar

SUMMARY:General Practice Cancer Education - webinar
DESCRIPTION:Immunotherapy: Supporting patients in their cancer treatment \nGPs have an important role in supporting patients receiving immunotherapy. Immunotherapy can cause various side effects which can occur at any time and can affect individuals differently. When problems occur\, it is important to identify which ones constitute an emergency requiring referral back to the treating specialist or a hospital admission\, and which can be initially managed at home. Good supportive care can minimise side effects\, leading to better quality of life for the patient and less distress for them and their family. At this webinar\, Dr Piyush Grover will discuss strategies to support patients receiving immunotherapy including how to recognise and manage both acute and late side effects and how to determine when a specialised approach is required. \nThis FREE webinar is aimed at health professionals working in general practice.  To register follow this link. \n
