This process is called Advance Care Planning. \nThis free online workshop will cover information on what is involved in Advance Care Planning\, how to get started\, and how to talk with your loved ones about your end-of-life wishes. It is a practical and interactive workshop where you will have the chance to get your questions answered. \nThis workshop will be presented by Sabena Lund who runs Palliative Care WA’s community education program. \n  \nYou must register for this free online workshop here on Eventbrite. DESCRIPTION:Learn the skills to help save a life with Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).\nASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. Participants learn to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and respond in ways that help increase their immediate safety and link them to further help. ASIST aims to enhance a caregiver’s abilities to help a person at risk to avoid suicide.\n\nThursday 17 and Friday 18 June 2021\n8.30am to 4.30pm\nCentacare Bunbury\, 103 Clarke Street\nCost: $200 + GST (full) or $75 +GST (concession or student)\n\nThere are also limited places in the upcoming two-day Gatekeeper training in Margaret River on 16-17 June 2021.
