Scholarships Open

The National Centre for Farmer Health will provide a limited number of scholarships to financially assist students who would like to undertake further study in area of Agricultural Health and Medicine. Scholarships are open twice yearly to applicants who enrol in core units HMF701 (Agricultural Health and Medicine) and or HMF702 (Healthy and Sustainable Agricultural Communities) either as part of their Graduate Certificate in Agricultural Health and Medicine, or as an elective at Deakin University or other university post-graduate course. Culturally responsive care and Blood Borne viruses: Webinar series for WA healthcare workers

Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities are growing in WA, the latest census data shows one in five households speak a language other than English at home. When supporting CALD populations, health professionals can be faced with clinical presentations and needs that vary substantially from Australian-born populations, particularly in terms of Blood Borne Viruses (BBVs).   This course is for: General practitioners, nurse practitioners, nurses and other interested healthcare workers.   This activity training has been submitted for approval to RACGP QI&CPD Program category 3 CPD points and ACRRM 3 core PDP points in the ACRRM program.
