SUMMARY:Family and Domestic Violence During Pregnancy - Why Antenatal Care Matters
DESCRIPTION:The Women and Newborn Health Service proudly presents this one day symposium on the importance of the antenatal sector in responding to Family and Domestic Violence (FDV). \nThe day will explore the impacts of FDV on mother and baby\, the complexities of FDV in the antenatal space\, research and innovation and what’s happening in the regions.  This event aligns with the ‘16 Days in WA to Stop Violence Against Women’ campaign. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTarget audience: \n\nHealth sector front line staff including nurses\, midwives\, doctors\, social workers\, psychologists\, Aboriginal liaison officers\, Aboriginal health workers and students.\nWorkers from other government and non-government departments who work in\, or are interested in working in\, the FDV sector or antenatal space.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLunch included. \nRegister here or contact whcsp@health.wa.gov.au for more information \n*Video conferencing will be available for regional participants\, email for further details.
