DESCRIPTION:Join us in one of Australia’s greatest and most spectacular landscapes – the truly magnificent Karijini National Park.\nBy day be spellbound by the contrasting Pilbara blue skies against the classic red rock formations\, as you wind your way through gorges to undertake emergency medical scenarios.  At night\, socialise under a canopy of stars with fellow participants and family members. \nThis opportunity to experience the remote\, beautiful\, rugged\, and incredibly fascinating Karijini National Park is one not to be missed.\n \nAbout the event\n\n\n\n\nThe Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the management of medical emergencies in a remote environment with limitations in equipment\, personnel and resources. \n\nParticipants learn in a supportive environment that encourages a relevant\, practical and self-directed approach to learning.\nParticipants develop their practical skills and professional abilities such as teaching\, teamwork\, leadership and dealing with stress and uncertainty.\nParticipants have the opportunity to network with colleagues in a unique setting.\n\nFor more information\, you can visit the event website here. \nImportant information: Due to a change in funding arrangements the Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend is now strictly for participants only.
