Six portable isolation anterooms to be deployed to regional WA hospitals to assist in keeping country residents safe from COVID-19 Anterooms prevent the transmission of viruses by isolating patients where required A further four anterooms available as backup to existing metropolitan hospital isolation rooms The McGowan Government has bolstered Western Australia's emergency preparedness for COVID-19 with 10 portable isolation anterooms. Diabetes is a complex condition and often people living with diabetes experience diabetes distress. This experience can be from not fully understanding the condition and feeling overwhelmed by what they now must consider and make sense of. Applications are now open for the Rural Health West 2020 Rural Practice Management Scholarship. The diploma aims to support staff employed in rural general practices to gain a nationally recognised qualification in order to enhance the delivery of health services across rural Western Australia.
