Radiance will be commencing a free support group in Term 1 2022, with locations in Bunbury, Busselton, Collie and Margaret River. The Radiance Network Support groups aim to help women build resilience and improve emotional wellbeing, support building a relationship in the first months of parenthood between new mothers and their babies, and for women to meet new friends in a welcoming and relaxed environment. General Practitioners have an important role in supporting those impacted by the bushfires, both in the immediate and longer term. Most people recover from the impact of disasters, but most of those who do seek help, initially present to their GP. Phoenix Australia has developed these resources to support GPs working within bushfire-affected communities. Resources on bushfire and mental health are also available on the Beyond Blue website.
