White Ribbon evening event – Busselton

The White Ribbon Campaign is a global movement, working to end male violence and abuse against women and girls. Join this community event which is an opportunity for parents and teens to show leadership and demonstrate the positive role they can play.

  • Understand how violence affects women and children
  • Learn about Coercive Control
  • Hear a ‘Lived Experience’ account of transgenerational abuse and violence
  • Find out how we can make a difference!

INTRODUCING Katherine (Kat) Houareau, Keynote Speaker & Founder/CEO of Changing Lives Australia, Radio Host for “Road To Recovery”
Kat will share her lived experience of intergenerational violence and abuse, trauma, homelessness, suicide and road to personal recovery.

This evening will also feature:

Coercive Control presentation from Sgt Don Mclean (SW Family & Domestic Violence Officer).
Sexism in Australia presentation from Year 12 student, Coralie Sandor.
