RANZCP webinar: Treatment of depression in young people

The RANZCP Section of Youth Mental Health is running a webinar to assist members with their educational and CPD requirements.  The session will examine the assessment, management, and treatment of depressive symptoms and presentations in young people. It will attempt to clarify some of the confusion and controversies regarding the relative roles and mechanisms of action of psychological and pharmacological approaches to treatment. This webinar is suitable for psychiatrists, trainees, and general practitioners, particularly those with an interest in youth mental health.

The webinar will include a 45-minute presentation by Dr Iain Macmillan followed by a Q&A discussion, chaired by Professor James Scott. The expert panel will include Dr Iain Macmillan, Professor Michael Berk, Laura Smith and Dr Aswin Ratheesh.
