    Community groups and organisations have collaborated to provide the first 6 day NAIDOC Celebration of Indigenous culture and history. There will be different events on each of the 6 days with all day all week Indigenous art and artefacts displays, Department of Parks and Wildlife native display, displays by local schools, audio and visual activities and much more. Individual events include a street parade, official Flag Raising and Welcome To Country ceremonies, Bush Tucker and Bush Medicine workshops, family day with movies and kids activities, kangaroo stew with damper, library and craft corner, traditional Aboriginal dance troupe, Noongar Sports activities.
