Autism Spectrum Disorder workshop
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has been increasingly diagnosed in recent years with international estimates of up to 1 in 68 people. Psychologists play a vital role in screening, diagnosis, and development of appropriate supports and interventions for individuals diagnosed with ASD across the lifespan. Practice may be targeted at core characteristics of social communication and restricted behaviours/interests, as well as common co-morbidities such as challenging behaviour and mental health.
