Bunbury Rural Emergency Assessment and Clinical Training (REACT) workshop

Registrations for Rural Health West CPD workshop: Rural Emergency Assessment and Clinical Training (REACT) being held in Bunbury on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August 2020 are now open!

 

Workshop details

The two day course will be facilitated by a team of experienced emergency physicians with extensive pre course materials including a USB of the course skills and drills being provided to each participant prior to attending. The REACT course includes major trauma and cardiac arrest in both children and adults as well as associated lifesaving procedural skills. It is highly interactive and participants are predominantly involved in emergency skills stations and simulated scenarios.

Formal assessment of basic airway management, basic life support (including shock advisory defibrillation), application of the advanced life support algorithm and primary survey of the trauma patient will also occur.

 

Please note: results of these assessments will be provided to relevant WACHS Regional Medical Director if required for Emergency Credentialing purposes.

Eligibility

Open to all Medical Practitioners. Priority of places will be offered to WA rural placed GP VMP’s and locums.
