Nutrition Communication for Health Professionals: Key Concepts

You will learn the key concepts central to dietary patterns for early intervention and management of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, how to talk about diet-related health, and identify the key features of healthy diets.

The East Metropolitan Health Service in partnership with the University of Newcastle funded by the Health Networks Unit has developed three-week online courses as part of the implementation of the WA Healthy Weight Action Plan 2019 – 2024. If you are a doctor, nurse, or allied health professional looking to improve your knowledge of the role of nutrition communication in chronic disease early intervention and management, these courses are for you.
